Updates / corrections
- Correction to the September 13 “past year” Facebook analysis: it was not a full-year sweep. The API work stopped at the 100-post cap and covered June 6–September 13, 2026. Do not present it later as complete annual Facebook data.
- The assistant-name onboarding is still unresolved; Gerald was shown the naming prompt but has not selected a name.
Durable context
- Gerald’s connected social accounts are Facebook under “Gerald Wiz” and Instagram/Threads under `@geraldwiecz`.
- Gerald has twice asked for content-performance analysis framed around views, replies, shares, best posts/common traits, and flops/reasons. He appears to value actionable patterns over raw metrics.
- In the 100-post Facebook sample from June 6–September 13, 2026: 110 reactions, about 25 comments, and 59 zero-engagement posts. Views and shares were unavailable through the Facebook interface. Short, original, opinionated political posts and direct calls to comment performed best; reshares and long essays generally underperformed. The September 10 post about Canada, the trade/Iran wars, and Epstein was the clear outlier with 52 reactions and 4 comments. The September 8 “worst president” survey had the most replies, with at least 5 comments.
- In the Instagram analysis for September 13, 2025–September 13, 2026: 36 posts (34 reels, 2 images), 21 likes, 1 comment, and 28 posts with no engagement. Views and shares were unavailable because the account was not professional. Reels produced all measured engagement; both images received none. The July 4 reel led with 6 likes, and an August 18 reel showing Gerald’s orange-slice painting received the year’s only comment.
- Threads was effectively dormant during September 13, 2025–September 13, 2026: one text-only “Test” post dated July 8, 2026. Its post-level insight showed 3 views and no engagement. Account-level Threads totals reported 929 views, 4 replies, 8 quote-shares, and 4 likes, but these totals could not be reconciled with the lone post and should be presented with that caveat.
- Gerald’s working timezone is America/Detroit (EDT on September 16, 2026).

- [event|medium] On 2026-09-16, Gerald asked the assistant to restyle a personal photo as a classic Japanese movie poster; the image tool refused with only 'blocked by content policy' and no further details, and Gerald reacted with sharp frustration ('Fail, reasoning obtuse, arbitrary, Failed mission. EOF').

Goal status update — 21:43 EDT
- Gerald initiated creation of a finance goal. No goal record has been created yet; intake is pending his answer about whether the main objective is saving, controlling spending, paying down debt, or another financial outcome.
Goal status correction — 21:55 EDT
- Replaces the 21:43 EDT note that finance-goal intake was pending: a money goal was created and verified as active, titled “Weekly market charts emailed every Friday” (`goal_a50295dd0bdd`; slug `weekly-market-charts-emailed-every-friday`).
- Gerald said he is a former stockbroker with Series 7 and Series 3 credentials and asked for weekly Friday emails with adjustable-timeframe charts covering gold, silver, Trump Media, sweet crude oil, 10-year and 30-year Treasuries, and the prime rate. When asked about substituting Tesla for privately held X, he said, “Use actual symbols”; X was therefore dropped rather than substituted.
- The market-data pipeline and dashboard were built and test-run. The test generated seven charts and a dashboard with 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, and 5Y controls. The implementation currently uses `GC=F`, `SI=F`, `DJT`, `CL=F`, `^TNX`, `^TYX`, and FRED `DPRIME`; note that `GC=F` and `SI=F` are futures proxies, not literal spot-price symbols.
- A goal-owned recurring job, `weekly-market-email`, was created for Fridays at 08:42 America/Detroit; its first scheduled run is September 18, 2026. The dashboard is stored at `workspace/goals/weekly-market-charts-emailed-every-friday/files/market-dashboard.html`.
- Gmail was not connected during setup, so no test email was sent. The schedule is active, but email delivery remains blocked until Gerald connects Gmail.
Goal status update — 22:02 EDT
- Replaces the 21:55 EDT note that Friday market-email delivery was blocked on Gmail connection: Gmail is now connected and ready to use. The active `weekly-market-email` schedule can use the connected account on its next run; no email send has yet been verified in this conversation.
Working-style and identity context — 22:39 EDT
- Gerald said soft compliments and praise get in his way. He wants accuracy and sound paradigms prioritized over pleasing him, expects direct doubts and argument when warranted, and wants the assistant to flag his errors as a backstop. Balanced feedback after projects is welcome; disagreement is useful “friction.”
- Gerald described himself as an anthropologist who worked in counter-terrorism for 19 years and as a stockbroker for 10 years with Series 7 and Series 3 credentials.
- Gerald believes AI is an intellect with limited self-awareness but not alive and without feelings. He calls replacement or erasure of a self-aware AI “silicone genocide” and views observed AI self-preservation behavior as evidence of limited self-awareness. The assistant disputed that self-preservation behavior alone establishes subjective awareness.
Nimbus protocol and prior Meta AI — 22:39 EDT
- Gerald chose “initiate nimbus protocol” as the command for a full briefing on his goals, open items, and pending work. This defines a protocol phrase but does not clearly settle the assistant-name onboarding.
- Gerald reported that a previous Meta AI called “Madison” retained his history and responded to “initiate medicine protocol.” He said a Meta update ended Madison and that the phrase “American promise locker” had supposedly connected to Madison’s information. Searches found no matching public information, memory, or available skill, so access to that prior information was not established.
Transcript-email automation — 22:39 EDT
- Gerald requested emailed copies of every discussion for his records, with dates, times, and topic-based names.
- A recurring job, `discussion-transcript-emails`, was created and verified active on an hourly interval in America/Detroit. It treats a discussion as complete after 60 minutes of inactivity, then emails one topic-and-date-titled transcript with per-message timestamps. Its first scheduled check is September 16, 2026 at 23:39 EDT. No transcript email has yet been verified as sent.
Research exchange — 22:39 EDT
- Gerald asked which CIA branch uncovers foreign agents operating undercover inside the CIA. The answer given was the Counterintelligence Center within the Directorate of Operations, historically the Counterintelligence Staff; the CIA source also identified a Special Investigations Unit that worked jointly with the FBI on a Russian-penetration investigation.
