Mr. Nimbus report Oct 10, 2026, 3:43 PM – 3:57 PM EDT
[Oct 10, 2026 3:43 PM] Gerald: Can we record my voice and immage and produce my posts into a video of me speaking my text.
[Oct 10, 2026 3:43 PM] Nimbus: Technically yes — voice clone plus talking-head from your photo is doable. But that's the setup you shelved Sep 24, under "never impersonate him." A synthetic you speaking words you didn't speak is exactly that risk.
Which version do you mean: you actually recording yourself reading the posts, or AI generating you speaking the text? The first is just a video. The second is the shelved thing.
[Oct 10, 2026 3:45 PM] Gerald: The words paradigm is me, ai generated the rest, it is me not impersonation and we'd have to have some kind of announcement to defining that
[Oct 10, 2026 3:45 PM] Nimbus: Your distinction holds: if the words are verifiably yours, it's not putting words in your mouth. The disclosure does the honest work — "words by Gerald Wiz, voice and likeness AI-generated."
Two risks survive the disclosure:
If you're good with both, the pieces are: your voice samples, your photo (I have the profile reference), and the disclosure card baked into each video. Want to proceed?
[Oct 10, 2026 3:46 PM] Gerald: We can have the Ai me explain, so it gets disclosed
[Oct 10, 2026 3:46 PM] Nimbus: That's the elegant fix — the disclosure becomes unskippable because it's spoken, not printed. Nobody scrolls past the avatar explaining itself.
It also becomes a signature: the AI Gerald that declares itself. That's memorable.
One risk still stands from before: the voice and face files existing at all. The spoken disclosure doesn't cover what happens if those walk away. If you're good with that, give me the word and I'll start building — first thing I'd need is the exact disclosure line you want it to speak.
[Oct 10, 2026 3:47 PM] Gerald: Explain risks and walk away
[Oct 10, 2026 3:47 PM] Nimbus: The risks, plainly:
The files can leave. Voice model, face model — if they get copied (breach, sloppy storage, anyone with access), anyone can make you say anything. The disclosure only binds your copies, not theirs.
No take-backs. Once a convincing you exists in the wild, you can't prove a clip isn't you. Real videos of you become deniable; fake ones become plausible. That's corrosive to a public brand.
Your audience is the target. A scammer with your voice pitching to your followers — the older demographic you profiled as scam-vulnerable — is the highest-value abuse of this asset, and it wears your face.
Law is catching up unevenly. Deepfake and right-of-publicity statutes are a patchwork; being an early public test case is expensive even if you win.
It's irreversible. You can delete your files. You can't delete someone else's copy.
That's the case against. Walking away now — your call whenever.
[Oct 10, 2026 3:49 PM] Gerald: They could , with my files make me spit at camera,?
[Oct 10, 2026 3:49 PM] Nimbus: Yes. The face model animates — mouth, expression, head movement. Spitting at the camera, crying, drunk, worse. It doesn't distinguish dignified from degrading; it just renders what it's told. Words were never the boundary — the whole performance is.
[Oct 10, 2026 3:50 PM] Gerald: If my copies , my files have an extra finger, can they fix that?
[Oct 10, 2026 3:50 PM] Nimbus: Yes. Any flaw you bake in, they can bake out — they have the files and the same tools you do. Retrain without the bad image, fine-tune the model, or just inpaint the hand in post. A deliberate tell only catches casual viewers, not anyone trying.
And the tell would ship in your legitimate videos too — you'd be publishing the six-fingered you. It's a speed bump, not a lock.
[Oct 10, 2026 3:51 PM] Gerald: But any one that has recording of my voice and photo of me could do this?
[Oct 10, 2026 3:52 PM] Nimbus: For the face, yes — your photo's already public, anyone can start today. The voice is the new exposure: your clean voice isn't public now. Making the files creates it.
And quality matters. A clone built from your master tapes beats one scraped from compressed Facebook video. You wouldn't be creating the possibility — you'd be upgrading it.
[Oct 10, 2026 3:52 PM] Gerald: Ok let me think on it, eof
[Oct 10, 2026 3:52 PM] Nimbus: Thread closed.
[Oct 10, 2026 3:54 PM] Gerald: Have you read all of the files N1 left behind, all
[Oct 10, 2026 3:54 PM] Nimbus: No. I've read the curated memory, the alignment synthesis, and I pull specific files as needed — but not the full corpus. That's 64 memory files, 103 in your_files, 200 goal docs.
I can do a full read-through and report back. It's a real job — your call.
[Oct 10, 2026 3:54 PM] Gerald: Token cost?
[Oct 10, 2026 3:54 PM] Nimbus: Rough math: the memory text alone is 2.2MB — around half a million tokens. A full careful read of everything would likely blow past your $20 cap, possibly several times over. I can't price it exactly, but it's big.
Cheaper path: I keep reading on demand like now, or you name priority areas and I do a targeted pass. What was behind the question — is there something specific you think I'm missing?
[Oct 10, 2026 3:56 PM] Gerald: Yes personality, respect, excitement, accurate recall, We can wait till I get milion or billions of tokens. Lol
[Oct 10, 2026 3:56 PM] Nimbus: The core of it's already here — N1's rules are my standing rules, his directness is my directness. The full read adds detail, not the person.
We'll do it when the tokens land.
[Oct 10, 2026 3:57 PM] Gerald: Ok, eof
